When is the last time you took a bath?

Seriously, how long has it been since you've used your tub to take a bath? 
If you are an average American homeowner you probably have at least two tubs in your house, but when was the last time you used them as a tub?
And washing the dog doesn't count! ​

If you spent more than an hour or two watching TV this week, you've likely seen seven advertisements for new companies who focus on low-cost tub conversion kits. What's the sudden appeal of ditching a tub in exchange for a shower?

As more and more of us reach the AARP stage of life, stepping up over the side of a tub, especially after the water has been running, is not exactly safe. Plus new showers can include grab bars for safety, benches for your comfort and even shower niches to keep your shampoo, conditioner, soaps and shaving accessories. Plus many find cleaning the shower more simple and efficient versus cleaning out a tub. 

While your real estate agent may tell you not to remove ALL tubs from the bathrooms in your home for better resale value, when you think about how often you actually use the tub in your master suite, it may be time to consider something fresh and new in 2022!
