One of our favorite episodes of your favorite home remodeling show featured a note written by a young contractor in 1976 and placed inside a soda bottle found by a TV remodeling team decades later. There's something mystical about leaving notes for strangers to find in the future. And given the longevity of homes, it's no surprise that many of us write our initials in wet concrete or drop notes into floorboard cracks. So we laughed when we saw this funny note pop up last month from a bathroom remodeling project in California. The Mooney family decided their shower was too small and took on a DIY project themselves. During renovation they discovered a picture and note written on the backside of their bathroom wall, dated 1995, from two previous home owners: The handwritten note asked an important question' "If you're reading this, that means you're remodeling the bathroom again. What's wrong with the way we did it?!?!?" . The Mooney's shared photos of the drywall note on social media and this story went viral and was covered by the national news media. We also love the fact the 1995 homeowners, the Shinsuki's, also included a photo and note from their potty trained bunny as well - Cassie - a future Cadbury bunny hopeful!
